GiveOwl is a free overview of giveaways, sweepstakes and online advent calendars, on giveowl.com and in the GiveOwl app for Android, in 19 languages. A sponsored placement puts your entry at the top of your country’s list.

Where we are today
GiveOwl launched in October 2026. We don’t have big traffic numbers to show yet, and we don’t use analytics or tracking on our visitors, so we can’t promise views or clicks. That is why prices are low while we grow. Add UTM tags to your link to see visits from GiveOwl in your own analytics.
Basic listing: always free
Every genuine giveaway or advent calendar can be listed for free, whether you advertise or not. Paying never decides what we list.
What a sponsored placement includes
- Top of your country’s list in the app’s Explore tab and on giveowl.com/browse/. There are never more than two sponsored entries in a list at a time.
- Top of your country’s page on giveowl.com (for example giveowl.com/c/no/). With the advent package, also top of the advent calendar list and page.
- Your own entry page with the prize, deadline and how to enter, linking straight to your page.
- A highlighted card with the label “Sponsored”.
- Your own tracking link (UTM) if you want one.
Always labelled, same rules
- Sponsored entries always carry the label “Sponsored” (“Annonse” in Norwegian), and links are marked rel="sponsored".
- The same quality rules as every listing apply: a real organizer, official terms, correct dates and prizes, and free to enter or clearly marked “Purchase required”.
- We don’t accept lead-generation schemes, gambling, alcohol or promotions aimed at children, and we may decline any booking.
- A sponsored entry that has ended is removed from the top straight away.

Launch prices apply to bookings received by January 31, 2027. Prices exclude VAT; Norwegian businesses pay 25 % Norwegian VAT on top. Invoiced in NOK, EUR or USD by HENDT AS, Norway, 14 days net. If we can’t show your placement as agreed, we extend it or refund the unused days.
How to book
- Email us the link to your giveaway or calendar, the country, the package and your preferred start date.
- We check the entry against our rules and confirm a free slot within two working days.
- Your placement goes live on the agreed date, and you receive the invoice.
